The Rally Back to the Ice is the test of the Fall Through the Ice. One is the Sign of Weakness and the other is the test of that Sign of weakness. The Rally Back to the Ice must be on reduced volume. It is desirable if the ice level runs below the support level in the trading range. If the rally enters the trading range, it becomes less of a valid test. You want the price action to stop before it enters the trading range, on reduced volume and spread. If you have that, you can enter a short position before the bulk of the decline gets underway
